How to use the Beyond Blue Web Site PDF Print E-mail

Introduction

Those of you familiar with previous versions of the Beyond Blue web site will no doubt recognise a significant number of changes and upgrades with our latest edition. These changes however are not purely cosmetic, as we've implemented a number of new features (such as the community forums and Emag versions of each magazine issue) with the aim of greatly enhancing our users experience. The following paragraphs cover some of these features in detail, and also explain how you can get the most out of the Beyond Blue web site.

Downloading Beyond Blue magazine

We've gone to significant lengths to make our magazine as versatile and immersive as possible, not only in terms of presentation but also in how our users access it.

Accessing an issue of Beyond Blue

  2. You will notice the sub menu (the dark blue bar beneath the main menu) will update
  3. Click either Latest Issue or Previous Issues from the sub menu (if you select Latest Issue, please jump to stage 5)
  4. You will be taken to a page showing you a list of the available issues, click which issue you would like to view
  5. This will take you to the overview page for that particular issue
Each overview page consists of three elements: a description of the content (a rundown of the articles available in that particular issue), an Emag edition (an interactive digital magazine which can be view as part of the page, in fullscreen, emailed to a friend or even printed) and a downloadable PDF version (which can be saved offline for future reading).

  3. Hold your mouse over the middle of the emag and you will see a button appear entitled view in fullscreen (this is not mandatory, but suggested as it makes the mag much easier to read)
  4. Click the arrows on either side of the emag to change pages
  5. In fullscreen mode you can also quickly jump to specific pages, using the menu which appears at the bottom of your screen
